Manufacturing Process
High-tensile low-carbon steel wire is drawn to the required gauge and galvanised for corrosion resistance. Two line wires are twisted together while sharp barbs - formed from a separate wire - are mechanically twisted around them at uniform intervals. The finished wire is coiled into standard-length rolls ready for dispatch and field installation.
